4 Month Old Sandy

So many walks and hikes!

Since she is now fully vaccinated, Sandy got to venture out to Breakheart Reservation. She tried the water again, this time without waves, but still isn’t quite keen on it yet. She’ll come around eventually. Just walking the trails and smelling all the smells made her day. She even found a goldendoodle towards the end that she couldn’t help but play with.

Easter Sunday involved walking from my parent’s house up to Fawn Lake along the bike path and back through the neighborhood. She did super well during the 3+ mile loop, and settled perfectly with a bully ring while the humans enjoyed donuts.

Haley continues to bring Sandy further and further into the Town Forest, this week getting all the way to the Ipswich River. She also brought Sandy up to Woodstock, VT to meet Emma, and did super well hiking up Mount Tom before picnicking on some more bully rings. Sandy was a greater napper, sleeping most of the 2-hour drive there and back.

Sandy went to her second puppy playgroup today and had a blast! The first playgroup she was friendly and curious, but took a little bit before she starting zooming around playing with the other dogs. Not today. She immediately was running around the room like a bat out of hell, and once the other playful dog was identified (a big 5-month old black lab), she was constantly jumping and rolling around with him. She was exhausted by the end, but so happy.
