Third week with Sandy and she keeps learning and getting bigger! This champion sleeper despises getting out of her crate at midnight for her potty break. She also is still working on the concept of catching items thrown at her (food, balls, or toys). She’s taken to lettuce and carrots, but mostly to just shredding them instead of eating. Her favorite sound is the ice dispenser, which she runs to sit next to you every time, hoping to get a piece that misses your glass.

She’s met several more dogs, all of them have been super positive. Last Saturday, Sandy visited Bella in Bedford, happily sniffing and running by her in the dug out tracks. Later, Gabby and Jason came over with Riley (Sandy still resorts to being submissive, though she’s wagging her tail the entire time). Aimee and Adam came over with their big golden, which after 10 minutes of running around with, Sandy was more interested in eating leaves off the rhododendron.

Sandy also experienced her first fireplace fire, though she still hasn’t developed a healthy fear of it yet.
